David, thanks for your reporting and thoughtful assessment. Maybe there's a window opening for Gazans to realize that a better life for their children and themselves will never be achieved by teaching their children from the age of three to hate Jews.

Thanks, Fred. It's still so essential to them that it's hard for me to be optimistic on that. Internalizing that it's not worth attacking Israel? Maybe.

If what's happening now doesn't open their eyes, that they're just pawns for the greater "cause" of all muslim nations to destroy Israël, they're just blind and deaf for any reasoning. Ex muslims fo understand.

We've done everything to offer peace, they've been living on humanitarian aid for 75 years. They follow their leader at their convenience.

Whatever happens, it'll take a bih miracle to root out this hatred towards jews and non Muslims. But while they hate, they ask us for aid.

it's beyond comprehension

Thank you for your article.

Thank you for your comments. Yes, they hate, and they exploit Westerners who are unable to grasp it, or who sympathize with them. I don’t see much change in the hate on the horizon. Starting in the 1970s leaders of Arab countries realized it wasn’t worth it to fight Israel on the battlefield, so that was a kind of progress. Of course, it could backslide.
